Today we had a visit from Toni from the Sports Partnership who taught us how to play a new game called new age kurling. This is a game that is usually played at the Winter Olympics on ice.
We learnt some skills using the kurling stones and then had a go at playing some games. The knurling stones had wheels on the bottom so they rolled really quickly across the hall floor. We had to kneel down, put our hands under the handle, pull it towards us and then push it towards the target. The aim of the game was to get our stones onto the white circle in the middle of the target. We showed really good team work by using our stones to push some of our friend's stones closer to the target to score more points.
