On Thursday 17th March 2016, Class Four (Year 5 and 6) visited Sywell CE Primary School for a fun, educational Science morning. The pupils enjoyed an hour of experimental activities delivered by The Unilever association .
Enthusiastically, the children - feeling like scientist - quickly put their lab coats on and quickly set off to explore the world of science! Curiously, they gathered around each station as the leaders taught the students about science and the way things are formed. During their exciting morning, they were given a scientific explanation on how ice cream can be made using : cream, custard and dry ice. They also learnt about how dry ice, a solid, can easily be turned into a gas.
Class Four enjoyed a wonderful morning learning about materials and their properties and hope to work with Unilever in the future!
