Before we started, we thought about the things we needed to do to keep safe and hygienic. We washed our hands, took off our watches, rolled our sleeves back and tied our hair up. We also learnt about the bridge cut, the claw cut and the fork secure cut to keep our fingers out of the way and safe.
We had to choose and use a range of tools and equipment to help us to make our fruit salad. We carefully used a peeler to peel the skin off of the fruits and a knife and a chopping board to carefully cut and shape the fruits into small pieces to make our healthy fruit salads.
