We enjoyed our first yoga sessions today. The atmosphere in the hall was so relaxing and the yoga instructor said what lovely children our pupils were to work with. Learning how to be calm and relaxed whilst working our bodies is so important and we look forward to continuing our yoga next week.
M&M Productions visited school on Thursday April 4th to perform "The Railway Children."
The performance was amazing and it was lovely to see all of the children, from Reception to Year 6, totally engaged with it. They thoroughly enjoyed the performance of this classic tale. Thank you to FOOPS for funding such a worthwhile experience for the children.. Our Rock Steady musicians performed their first concert today and they were amazing! The audience consisted of parents and relatives, children and staff and we were all blown away by the standard every band has reached in the short time that they have been playing together. Great talent and excellent team work! Oliver from West End In Schools taught each year group a dance retelling the story of 'Where the Wild Things Are'. They practised their dance in workshops throughout the day and then performed it in front of the whole school. The children enjoyed themselves and all the staff were impressed with their performances! We enjoyed sharing our favourite books with each other. |
