Year 3,4 Gymnastics

Some of our year 3 and 4 pupils took part in a gymnastics competition at Phoenix Gym Club in Daventry on December 2nd. The children had to learn and perform a body management and a floor routine and they also had to complete a vault. There were 14 teams from the district competing on the day and 2 of them were from Overstone Primary School. One team finished in 9th position and the other finished 1st! They will go forward to represent the district in the County Finals in February. One of our pupils, Shay, was awarded the highest mark of the event for his vault. There were 56 children competing so this was a great achievement. Congratulations to all our gymnasts.
