As part of our Literacy sessions, based on the story of 'The light house keepers lunch', we have been looking at instruction text maps. The children were encouraged to use key vocabulary, such as first, next, then, after that and finally, to help with the order of making a sandwich. The children really enjoyed making their own jam sandwiches, and loved eating them!
