We had lots of fun playing party games, including 'pin the nose on Rudolph,' musical statues, musical chairs and pass the parcel.
​We even had a special virtual message from Father Christmas! He'd hidden some presents in school which Mrs Mardell found and delivered to us. 

We have been busy writing book reviews about our favourite books. We then presented them to our classmates who will hopefully choose some of our book recommendations for themselves.  In Year Four, we enjoy a range of fiction and non-fiction books, particularly about animals. Our favourite authors are Philip Pullman, Enid Blyton and Jacqueline Wilson, to name a few. 

Year Four chose Joe Wicks as an inspirational person to research. We learnt about how his passion for health and fitness inspired a nation during the pandemic. 
We worked really hard to share what we had learnt about him, in an assembly for the school and parents to see. 

We enjoyed a trial session with 'Twisted Arts' to try some breakdancing and some acrobatics on the air track. It was so much fun!

The children were lucky enough to have a visit from Pamela (and Harold) from the Life Education Bus to learn about mental as well as physical health. We learnt about the 5 ways we can improve our mental wellbeing. 

We walked around the school grounds to look for signs of summer as part of our Science work.
