We had so much fun at Cadbury World. We learnt about the history of chocolate as well as how they make chocolate in the factory. We were able to try some chocolate which was delicious! Our favourite part of the day was the 4D experience.

We went outside to look for signs of Autumn. We then planned a recount to describe what we had found. Finally, we shared our work with the rest of the class and we spoke really clearly and confidently.

We had lots of fun during our taster session. We worked in teams and scored lots of points by hitting the cones. Some of us even managed to hit the balls over the fence!

Where does chocolate come from?

We watched a video showing where cacao trees grow and how they are harvested. We learnt about how the seeds (or beans) are scooped out and dried before being shipped across the world to chocolate factories to be made into our favourite chocolate bars that we see in the shops! We then worked really hard to draw what happens at each stage.

On Thursday we took part in an Expressive Arts taster session. We had lots of fun making freeze frames for the rest of the class to guess what we were.
