Today we had a brilliant time defending our imaginary castle.
First we practised our archery skills. We learnt that in a castle, the arrow loops were used to shoot arrows through the stone walls.
After that we tried to cross a moat. It was tricky to jump over so Miss Cox let the drawbridge down so that we could return to the castle.
Finally, we rode some horses. Horses were used because they were fast and strong and even wore their own special armour to keep them safe in battles.
