This week in Science, we have enjoyed going on nature walks in our school grounds to identify some of the micro-habitats that are found on our school field and playground, the conditions of each micro-habitat and some of the minibeasts that live in each one.
We were amazed by the minibeasts that we found when we looked in leaf litter, in the grass, in the mud, under logs, on tree trunks and inside flowers. We found lots of ants, woodlice, worms, spiders and snails and carefully recorded our findings on a tally chart.
