This afternoon we were treated to an amazing Samba performance by Class 3. They have been working with their Samba teacher, Ben, for the past 10 weeks to learn to play the rhythms and instruments that Samba music is famous for. We hope our audience enjoyed our performance as much as we enjoyed performing.
We had a great day at Flag Fen near Peterborough. We were archaeologists for the day, looking at artefacts and making clay pots. We looked around the site and saw a variety of artefacts that had been discovered by archaeologists. We enjoyed a story in the replica roundhouse and made a wish on the Iron Age dragon sword. Kate was very impressed by what we knew about the Stone Age and she thought we were very good time detectives. Here are some photos from our day. This week, we enjoyed playing a game of backwards bingo to help us to solve problems using fractions. This week we enjoyed working on Science activities based on the theme of journeys. Some children have also chosen to do some activities at home! |
