Thank you to George's Mum, Helen for organising today's visit. We learnt about how to stay safe in a fire and when crossing the road. We looked at the different equipment they have on the fire truck and we got to sit in the fire truck (very exciting!). We then took turns squirting water out of the hose. The sirens were very loud!
We continued to explore Overstone by visiting the local Post Office. The children were very well behaved and they all confidently asked for a stamp, remembering their please and thank you. The children wrote a post card the next day about their trip to the Post Office and posted it home using the stamp that they bought. When they receive their post card at home, please can you take a photo and upload it on Tapestry with any comments the children made. It would be lovely to follow up in school. Thank you!
